Analyzes revenue for Group, Day Meeting, Transient, and Social / Catering.
Ensures the integrity of all forecasting for rooms / meeting space.
Completes forecasts for rooms / meeting space.
Recommends pricing for all market segments.
Recommends room allocations for all market segments.
Works with General Manager to complete group rates and room availability, corporate rates and room availability, and Requests for Proposal (RFP) for corporate transient market.
Works with General Manager on selling guidelines and sales goals.
Measures the result of any revenue management program implemented.
Identify & qualify new business prospects for follow-up
Completes a variety of reports and analyses on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.
Responsible for representing hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers to aid in the hotel's continuing effort in delivering outstanding service and financial profitability.
Respond to all incoming corporate and volume rate and catering requests on a timely basis. Qualify each request to ensure it fits with the hotel's overall goals.
Determine rates and negotiate corporate contracts.
Develop sales plan and initiatives to reach target revenue and room night goals.
Participates in cross-selling programs which includes the Global Account Program. This will be accomplished by lead referrals, account development and strategizing, as well as prospecting for new business from opportunity accounts.
Host and entertain clients and conduct property inspections as part of managing accounts.
Work with General Manager, Revenue Manager and Front Office Manager on property GDS systems.
Occasional travel may be required.
Produces Sales plan and manages Rooms, Catering, and where appropriate, F&B and recreational amenity revenue streams.
Works with the General Manager, Sales and Operations teams to execute yield management and revenue management strategies to maximize revenues, profitability and utilization of property.
Develops and executes Sales Budget. Works with GM, Controller and Operating Managers to develop revenue information for other departmental budgets.
Manages, motivates, coaches and counsels Sales team in presentation skills, account development and strategy, needs assessment, relationship selling, and closing deals.
Serves as liaison with Gemstone Hotels & Resorts corporate office and property ownership on all revenue related information.
Serves as liaison with Vice President, Sales on corporate initiatives related to Sales.
Participates property marketing efforts including advertising production, scheduling and placement; collateral materials production; public relations; and maintains community relationships such as area Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
Works with General Manager, Revenue Manager and Front Office Manager on property GDS systems.
Participates in cross-selling programs, including Global Account Program, through lead sending, account development and strategy, and prospecting for new business from opportunity accounts near property.
